After earning her B.A. in Economics and Accounting, Wendy began her career in Finance, as a Branch Manager for one of Canada's top 5 banks, in the mid-1980's. For 20 years after leaving the Bank, she oversaw finance, HR, and marketing as she helped her husband grow his construction company into a robust and customer-focused enterprise. From there, she went on to hold several executive-level, finance, planning, and risk management roles, within a variety of industries, before passing her licensing exams and launching her career as a Financial Advisor. Her vast skillset and empathetic personality help her to really engage with and understand her client's needs. A strong believer in lifelong learning, Wendy is continually upgrading her skills and designations to best serve her clients. She is an active member with both ADVOCIS (the Financial Advisors Professional Association), and the CGIB (Canadian Group Insurance Brokers Association) and subscribes to their codes of ethics and standards.

In addition to being a Financial Advisor, I am a wife, mom, grandma, friend and volunteer. Helping people is my passion. I learned, from an early age, the importance of sharing my time, talents, and skills to help those in need and have been a community volunteer since my teens. Today, I volunteer my time on the following boards: 100 Women Who Care Lanark Chapter, ADVOCIS Rideau-St. Lawrence, Perth & District Chamber of Commerce, and Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation.
